HTI is a family run business and were the first to import UK horse vans into New Zealand almost 10 years ago. Quality horse transport is not as affordable in New Zealand due to the price of materials and labour, so Adam and Grace saw an opportunity to bring more choice of horse trucks and vans to this side of the world. By providing a logistics service with a flat fee for all, it ensures the client doesn’t pay a middle man for a product that seems quite daunting to choose and purchase, let alone get delivered all the way here.
Grace rode competitively in the UK before emigrating to NZ 15 years ago, so not only has she a broad knowledge about horse trucks, but uses them personally with her own horses. This is crucial in advising clients what works best for what horses. Likewise, the UK horse trucks being imported now have changed a great deal based on feedback from HTI and design changes to suit NZ roads, climate conditions and usage.
Adam brings a background in running both Luxury and Game fishing launches. He has meticulous attention to detail, along with a strong understanding of the working side of vehicles, batteries, generators and maintenance. Adam knows how to best look after and service your horse truck and its components.
